My thoughts on Abortion

Below is a response I gave to a Sister-in-Christ's email, she send me about another reason as to why not have an abortion. It was excellent but at the end it added that point that if we are Catholic we must not just say we are but act like a Catholic. If we are Christian, let's not just say it but live it. I felt a need to respond to her email and I decided to post it here to share with anyone you might care.

I loved how the Doctor presented the solution.

My Sister, I believe that we need to know that abortion is never and is not a solution. We can be firm in our faith and act truly Catholic / Christian, and one day, fall without seeing the crack on the ground. I think it's more than just saying it and actually thinking your practicing it. It's about living your faith! How many of us practiced are faith and not known Jesus?

The "mom" does not alone kill her child, but also, kills herself. Except, there is a twist.... the child never dies because he/she is received by Christ and lives eternal life. But, it's different for 'mom'. First, let me say this: no woman what's to kill their child... PERIOD. I'm so certain of this fact, I am willing to ask 100 woman, that have terminated their pregnancy, if their circumstances would of been different, if they would still have had an abortion? I bet you big money that 99.0% would say, no. The biggest reasons they had it was because of fear, doubtness, vanity, selfishness, insecurity, lack of love, lack of support, lack of many things.

When a woman has any of these issues, and goes through with an abortion, they seal the voices of those demons and concede to the battle of saving themselves. They become stone-like inside and eventhough the woman could seems in-control, or/and warm and fuzzy on the outside, it's really a front because they completely stop caring about themselves.

You will find that these "mom's" will become hyper-focused on something or someone. They subconsciously want to to save anything or anyone else besides themselves. They will be "Martha's on overdrive", hoping the Lord saves everyone else. They will run themselves dry and if in the process, they die , "o'well, "ce la vie." They don't want to live and will never admit it. Some kill themselves slowly without realizing it. Other's will try to kill themselves intentionally but don't successed. Some do accomplish it. I have thought about this too, that I'm sure their are women that wish they would die at the abortion clinic while killing there baby because of their shame.

Abortion is aborting their own life. But, if there is a pinhead size hole of hope in their soul, the Lord will save them. Their only requirement is that they really want to live. Then allow God to breath, think, eat, move, and feel for them. Their child/children are in heaven praying for their life and for their happiness!
